THE STORY OF CENTREDSCHEDULEFAQS

Getting Started

Most of my classes are held in the Wonderfully calming space at Mrs Peony - near Shepshed. Kat has created a cosy, welcoming space which I am grateful to use for these classes. The photos on my website are all of this space. If classes or workshops are to be held elsewhere this should be clear on the registration page. There are steep steps leading to the room, please get in touch if you feel this is an obstruction to the class being accessible for you.

Not at all. Centred is designed to be welcoming for everyone, regardless of experience or fitness level. Whether you've never tried yoga before or you've been practising for years, you'll find a place here. Classes are taught with options and modifications so you can move in a way that feels right for your body.

Just yourself and comfortable clothing you can move in. Mats and props are provided, so there's nothing extra you need to bring. If you have your own mat and prefer to use it, you're welcome to bring it along. I also recommend bringing additional props you feel called to for comfort such as a pillow or blanket, especially for the Unwind class.

Trained in Vinyasa, Centred classes focus on mindful, slow-paced movement — think grounding flows, breathwork, and restorative practices. The intention is always to help you feel more at ease in your body, not to push you to your limits. It's yoga that supports you, rather than challenges you to perform.

Ground classes are 60 minutes long, and Unwind are 90 minutes long, giving the opportunity for deep rest. Workshops and retreat days will vary, details will be shown on the schedule for these.

Pricing & Booking

At the moment classes are priced individually at £12 for a 60 minute and £15 for 90 minutes class. I may explore introducing Memberships & Packages at a later date if there is demand.

Absolutely. I have a discount code for your first class - WELCOME50 - This allows you to try out a class for half price. Many people find that one class is all it takes to know if Centred is the right fit.

We ask that you cancel at least 12 hours before a class if you're unable to attend. This allows your spot to be offered to someone on the waitlist. Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the class credit.

Is Centred Right for Me?

In many cases, yes. Please let me know before class about any injuries, conditions, or areas of sensitivity, and I'll offer appropriate modifications. For anything more complex, a one-to-one consultation beforehand is always a good idea so we can make sure the practice feels safe and supportive for you.
Flexibility is not a requirement for yoga — it's often a result of it. Classes are designed so that everyone can participate, and you'll never be pushed into a shape that doesn't feel right for your body. You're always encouraged to listen to yourself first.

Yes. With training in perinatal anatomy and physiology and as a Mother Circle Facilitator, I feel passionate about supporting women through pregnancy and the postnatal period. This is really where my yoga journey began. The gentle style of classes means that they are accessible for the postnatal period. If you are pregnant and feel called to join a class, please reach out so that we can discuss what's most appropriate for where you are in your journey.

If you're not sure where to start, the best thing to do is reach out, and I will be happy to help. We'll have a short conversation about what you're looking for, what your body needs, and which classes or offerings might suit you best. There's no obligation — just a chance to find out if Centred feels like the right fit.
